Lehmkhul and Hubar win the Golden Tickets    

DECEMBER 19TH 2011, ABU DHABI GOLF CLUB, ABU DHABI, (UAE) Abu Dhabi Golf Club hosted the December Monthly Medal in partnership with the Emirates Airline Invitational with an opportunity for the members to qualify for the Golden Ticket Grand Final held at the end of January prior to the Emirates Airline Invitational hosted by Abdulla Al Naboodah. With 78 competitors the competition was fierce with only two places available on the day for the lowest nett and the lowest gross score.  

The low gross score of the day went to Club Champion Ricus Lehmkhul with a creditable score of 76 despite a double bogey seven on the 18th hole.  

In the nett division, the top three players were separated by just one shot. In the end it was Livio Hubar who prevailed the winner is testing scoring conditions with an excellent score of 71. Livio won on a back nine playoff with Shawn Lunday who also posted an impressive score of 71. Tom Warwick came in third place with a steady round of 72.  

Ricus and Livio will now compete in the Golden Ticket Final in January with a chance to win a place in the Emirates Airline Invitational hosted by Abdulla Al Naboodah.
