Burkhardt Wins February Rivoli in Windy Conditions

 FEBRUARY 20TH 2012, ABU DHABI GOLF CLUB, ABU DHABI, (UAE) On Saturday 18th February, members of Abu Dhabi Golf Club competed in the February Monthly Stableford sponsored by Rivoli over the National Course in very windy and testing conditions.

1st place in the Men’s B Division went to Johan Peter Friedman who captured his first victory at the club with a solid score of 35 points finishing ahead of Shamal Karim who posted a score of 34 points.

With a score of 28 points, Cathy Siegel captured first place in the Ladies Division by one point from Lina Tyson who came second with a score of 27 points.

However it was Laurie Burkhardt who fired an outstanding score of 36 points and low score of the day to take first place in the Men’s A Division. Laurie finished three points ahead of Tim Kelly who posted a respectable score of 33 points to take second place after beating Ricus Lehmkhul on a back nine count back.
