Hunt Out Battles the Challengers in January Rivoli

JANUARY 10TH 2012, ABU DHABI GOLF CLUB, ABU DHABI, (UAE) On Saturday 7th January, members of Abu Dhabi Golf Club competed in Monthly Stableford sponsored by Rivoli over the National Course in ideal playing conditions. The course is now very testing ahead of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championships at the end of this month.

1st place in the Men’s A Division went to John Hunt who showed some signs of his potential with an impressive score of 38 points finishing ahead of Faris Al Azzawi who scored 33points to pip Jim Harvey on a countback.

In the Gents B Division regular prizewinners Adebowale Adejumo and Peter De Beer claimed the prizes with 34 and 32points respectively.

With an outstanding score of 37 points, evergreen Shawn Lunday captured first place in the Ladies Division by one point from ladies captain Muriel Gosselin. Gosselin had some consolation as she also claimed the Ladies Nearest the Pin Prize.
