Troon Golf Name Ken Kosak of Abu Dhabi Golf Club "General Manager of The Year"

Abu Dhabi Golf Club GM awarded prestigious award on eve of Abu Dhabi Golf Championship

FEBRUARY 22 2011, ABU DHABI GOLF CLUB, ABU DHABI, (UAE): Ken Kosak, General Manager at the recently refurbished Abu Dhabi Golf Club, one of Golf World's Top 100 Golf Courses, has been announced as "General Manager of the Year" by Troon Golf®, the leader in upscale golf course management, development and marketing. As one of Troon Golf's flagship venues, the course underwent significant lengthening and bunkering in the build-up to this years' Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship, and received critical acclaim from the world's greatest players as they battled it out for the famous Falcon Trophy.

Kosak, a Pinehurst, North Carolina native, has been with Troon Golf for several years, having previously held similar roles at high-profile venues including Pearl Valley Golf Estate, South Africa and The Montgomerie, Dubai. During his time at The Montgomerie, the venue was named "Troon Golf Facility of the Year". Having been based in Abu Dhabi since July 2009, Kosak has developed a strong affinity to the region.
