Impressive Hilary Knight Shoots Impressive 61 to Take October Medal Glory

OCTOBER 17th 2011, ABU DHABI GOLF CLUB, ABU DHABI, (UAE): On 14th October, Abu Dhabi Golf Club hosted the October Monthly Medal in excellent scoring conditions. The two best net scores from the medal competition would qualify for the Grand Final of the “Luckiest Ball on Earth” Event taking place at Jumeirah Golf Estates, Dubai. The winner of the Grand Final will be granted a place in the curtain raiser Pro-Am of the 2011 Dubai World Championship presented by DP World to be held on Tuesday 6th December, 2011 at Jumeirah Golf Estates.

The Low Gross score of the day in the Men’s Division went to Atique Daneshmed who took 1st Place with an excellent score of 75.

Tim Kelly posted an excellent score of 67 to take 1st Place in the Men’s Division. Tim finished three strokes clear of his nearest rival Ken Graham who carded a 70 to take 2nd place.

However the low score of the day belonged to Hilary Knight who shot an unbelievable score of 61 to take the Ladies Nett Division. Hilary finished 9 shots clear of her nearest rival Joanne Kellie who shot an excellent score of 70.

With the two best net scores of the day, Tim and Hilary qualified for the “Luckiest Ball on Earth” Grand Final on 15th November at Jumeirah Golf Estates.
