SOTO PREVAILS AS POWERPLAY CHAMPION FOR FEBRUARY

FEBRUARY 16TH 2012, ABU DHABI GOLF CLUB, ABU DHABI, (UAE) On Thursday 16th February 2012, Abu Dhabi Golf Club hosted the first Powerplay Open Championship of 2012.

The overall scores were close at the top of the leader board with the top 3 players separated by only 3 points. With a score of 26 points over nine holes, Adewale Adejumo took third place after finishing two points behind Corey Spring who posted an excellent score of 27 points to finish in second place. However they were no match for Ibrahim Soto who took first place with an outstanding score of 29 points and becomes the February Powerplay Open Champion.
